I wish booking.com flags these experiences as poor and prevent other people from staying like this. Positive: The location was great Negative: The host was very unkind and uncaring, the space felt very claustrophobic, it was not a great place to come back at night, it felt like a hostel room because of the basement and I paid a good amount of money. In general the deposit was way too high for the experience and there are significant delays in getting my deposit back. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting because the water did not drain at all as the bathroom is designed with the wrong slope. The property owner was quite frankly very rude and not hospitable, all the services were by a third party application and that felt incredibly impersonal and overall did not match the description. At this rate Airbnb is a lot more respectable and reliable. I would not recommend this experience to anyone.
